This extension program promotes the identification of a unique place by relating the different components of each era, by creating a “hyphen” facade in wood and glass. The structural principle is based on the combination of wood and concrete. The wood is used in the primary structure (posts and beams made of laminated veneer lumber), in floors and roofs (large H-shaped boxes prefabricated in laminated veneer lumber, and by the application of intumescent varnish when the excessively long lengths did not allow autoclave )
