Construction of the new indoor tennis courts in the city of Grenoble
The work designed by R2K Architects & Roda Architects includes 12 covered fields, 8 in resin, 4 in clay, 36 × 18 meters, allowing to host high level tournaments. The new building, built to strict environmental standards, also includes a fitness room, physiotherapy rooms, a restaurant and a terrace overlooking the 10 outdoor courts. Wood plays a big part, especially in the interior, where poplar fire retardant in autoclave by Woodenha covers ceiling vaults and most of the walls.
