“Building B” is the headquater of Atlanbois, the regional timber industry.
Located on the Ile de Nantes, in the heart of the creative district, Building B is a tertiary wood, bioclimatic and low energy consumption building. An innovative work with bold architecture, it shows the possibilities of a material that is both ecological and economical.
Clad in Douglas fir on the outside, its interior ceilings are solid 3-ply Ignipli® fire-retardant spruce panels. Atlanbois Building B, inaugurated on May 29, 2013, received the 2014 Archi Design Club award as well as the 2013 Batiactu Construction and Innovation Award.
