The 254 m-long building of the Lycée International Nelson-Mandela is structured around an interior street dressed in acoustic fireproof oak facades in the mass and lit by a ventilated canopy of 2,400 sqm.
In this BEPOS building (positive energy), the ceilings of the classrooms and the undersides of the walkways are also made of fireproof wood, in this case Ignipli® B, s1-d0 in spruce, some of which are perforated for questions of improvement of acoustics.
